Please bring your passport and at least ONE(1) of the following: Failure to meet the required conditions will result in the cancellation of your tour. Our staff reserves the right to cancel tours as needed. We respect the law, local regulations, and care for your safety.

  • 1949 International Driving Permit Official

    For Countries that are part of the 1949 International Road Traffic / 1949 Geneva Convention
    Please bring your 1949 International Road Traffic Permit (issued under the September 19, 1949 Geneva Convention) and your passport when driving in Japan.

  • JAF Translation

    For Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco and Taiwan
    Driver's License Holder. ONLY.
    Please bring your driver's license and the Japanese translation letter of your driving license issued by your consulate/embassy or Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) here in Japan office branches and your passport.

  • SOFA License + Military I.D

    For U.S Military Personnel based in Japan ONLY.
    Anyone with SOFA License is valid to drive in Japan.  For more info on SOFA Driver's license, kindly please contact your base's transportation office or legal office. "ON BASE" Sofa license is not accepted.

  • SOFA License + Military I.D

    BEWARE of FAKE/SCAM/INVALID International Driving Permit!

Upon arrival, please proceed to the check-in counter and present your driver's license. Once the terms and conditions are explained and a simple registration process is completed, you're ready to begin your Eco Kart journey!
